Getting bored just going up and down the runs?

This program reviews fundamental skiing techniques and then focuses on ski improvement by adding gates. Sessions are filmed and reviewed with the group and individual feedback is provided to help you to take your new skills back out onto the slopes.

Requirements: Helmets are mandatory, race approved (hard ear) helmets recommended. Other race accessories may be required.

Starts: January 9th, 2021 for 7 out of 9 Saturdays

Schedule: 9:30 am until noon.

Cost: $449.00

Whether you’re just starting to tackle the black diamonds and want to be able to explore the whole mountain or you’re looking to push your limits on any terrain, this program is for you!

The program is scheduled for Saturday mornings at 10:10 so that you can easily drop off your children for their lessons and then head out for yours.

Requirements:  Intermediate to expert skiers who want to enjoy the whole mountain. Must be able to ski “Blue” runs confidently. A minimum of 4 registered skiers is required to run the program.

Starts: Saturday January 9th, 2021 for 8 consecutive weeks from 10:10 am to 11:50 am

Cost: $375.00

Lift ticket: Seasons Pass or pre-purchased ticket for program days required.


Come ski and have fun with the ‘Snow Divas’ this winter! Two hours of on snow group instruction for Ladies only, followed by lunch in the Ryan II.

Requirements: Skill level, intermediate to advanced. Geared toward ladies who want to have a lot of fun and ski with more confidence on blue and black runs.

Starts: January 13th, 2021 for 6 consecutive Wednesdays

Schedule: On snow from 9:30 am -11:30 am, in the Ryan II for lunch at noon for the weekly special.

Cost: $305.00

Lift ticket: Seasons Pass or pre-purchased ticket for program days required.

There’s nothing like a private lesson to help you develop your skiing and snowboarding abilities.

Reservation and payment are required 24 hours in advance. No refunds on private lessons. For cancellation, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule, based on availability.

Private Lesson Cost & Duration: 1 hour $89.00 plus lift ticket

Semi-Private Lesson Cost & Duration: 1 hour for 2 people* $129.00 plus lift ticket

*must be of similar ability and age level and from the same household.

At Mont Ste-Marie, we take your health and safety, as well as that of our staff members, seriously. All ski resorts in the province of Québec are working with the Québec ski areas association and public health on an operating plan for this winter. To ensure the well being of our Mont Ste-Marie Family, this will include, but is not limited to, face coverings and goggles on the chairlifts, distancing in the lines, face coverings indoors etc. In accordance with COVID capacity restrictions imposed by Public Health, we will reserve the right to limit the number of people in all indoor spaces when required. Your cooperation is encouraged by all and to come ready to spend as much time outside on the slopes as possible.

Mont Ste-Marie Snow School Program

“Buy with Confidence” Guarantee for the 2020-2021 Season.

Guests that purchase a Snow School program will be able to request a credit that will be applied to the 2021/22 season until December 15th, 2020 without justification. Once the season has begun at Mont Ste-Marie, the following cancellation policy will be applied to all requests for credits due to COVID-19; a credit will be given on any unused part of a program, for example 4 weekends out of 8, credit 50%. The credit can be applied to any product sold at Mont Ste-Marie in the 2021/22 season, not including food and beverage.

Guests must send their request to ski@montstemarie.com. The following information must be indicated: name of program participant, parent’s name (if applicable), type of program, email address (to receive confirmation of your credit) and the reason for the request.

Ski and Snowboard at Mont Ste-Marie and Get Paid for It!

Mont Ste-Marie is looking for enthusiastic, friendly and highly motivated instructors to join our team for the 2019-2020 Winter Season. Come and share your passion for skiing and snowboarding with our guests. We offer a positive work environment, incentives and training that are second to none, plus a guaranteed winter of great times working and playing on the highest vertical in the Outaouais!

Instructors are employed to teach guests to ski according to the standards of the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA) and snowboarding according to the standards of the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI) in a safe and fun environment.

Instructors are expected to be available to work a minimum of one day on weekends and some holidays, these being our busiest periods. Instructors are responsible for providing a great learning experience to our guests, a large proportion of whom are children.

Instructors must be certified and in good standing with the CSIA and/or CASI, minimum Level 1. Not certified, no problem. If you are 15 years of age and interested in obtaining your certification, we conduct Level 1 CSIA and CASI courses early in the season so that you can start teaching at the beginning of the season.
