Recreational Snowboard Cross Program

With focus on snowboard cross discipline,  we have programs for newcomers to the sport along with athletes that compete at the regional, provincial and national level.  Our coaches are outstanding, qualified and are passionate about snowboarding.

Requirements:

  • 6 years of age and older
  • Skill level is intermediate to advanced
  • Race-certified helmet is mandatory
  • Mouth guard and spine protector (recommended)
  • Season pass or pre-purchased tickets are required for program days

Schedule:

Starts: January 10th or 11th, 2026 for 10 consecutive weekends. Race Dates TBD

Hours: 9:30am to 11:30am & 12:30pm to 2:30pm for all offered programs

Programs

  • Intro to SBX

    Program designed for youths aged 10+. The focus of this program is to develop all around snowboard skills with a focus on SBX such as agility, pumping/absorbing, straight airs and air awareness, speed, generating/management.Participants should be of a novice level and confident riding the mountain.

  • One Day SBX

    Program is for athletes that are limited to their weekend commitments and are aged 10+.  Athletes will develop their SBX skills: agility, pumping/absorbing, straight airs and air awareness, speed generating/management. We encourage all participants to take part in the Coupe Quebec Circuit – event dates to be confirmed.

  • Two Day SBX

    For SBX racers following the Coupe Quebec/Ontario Cup circuit or the FIS/NorAm circuit. This high performance training program focuses on skill development of all aspects of snowboarding. Honing in and fine tuning those skills will help athletes to achieve their goals. With highly qualified and experienced coaches, using video sessions and training off and on the track, MSM offers one of the best race programs in the Outaouais.
