Recreational & Competitive Snowboard Cross Program
“Club Prestige Snowboard MSM” – is an all-inclusive snowboard club that focuses on snowboard cross discipline. We have programs for newcomers to the sport along with athletes that compete at the regional, provincial and national level. Our coaches are outstanding, qualified and are passionate about snowboarding.
Canada Snowboard pre-season camp in Yukon end of Nov/Dec & The Gathering in May at Sunshine TBC
Requirements: 6 years of age and older. Skill level intermediate to advanced. A race-certified helmet is mandatory, mouth guard and spine protector are recommended. Ratio of 8 athletes to 1 coach.
Starts: Saturday, January 6th or Sunday, January 7th, 2024 for 8 or 10 consecutive weekends. Race Dates TBD
Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 & 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. for all snowboard programs.
PROGRAMS:
NEW: GROM – 8 week program is for kids aged 6 to 9 years old. It is an intro to SBX program for young athletes that will learn the skills in SBX and adventure all over the mountain. Participants must be able to use lift and ride confidently on blue terrain. Program is on Saturdays $575.00
INTRO TO SBX – 8 week program designed for youths aged 10+ interested in Snowboard Cross. The focus of this program is to develop all around snowboard skills with a focus on SBX such as agility, pumping/absorbing, straight airs and air awareness, speed generating/management. Athletes will learn and develop these skills while having a blast all over the mountain. Participants should be of a novice level and confident riding the mountain and use of the lift. We encourage all participants to take part in the Coupe Quebec at the end of February. Sundays only $575.00
All mountain snowboard program – 8 week program designed for intermediate riders, ages 6-10, looking to improve their snowboard skills through adventuring the entire mountain at MSM. Depending on snow conditions, carving, riding steeps and bumps, jumps and terrain adaptation, trees and powder are all themes that will be focused on throughout the program. Sundays only $575.00
ONE DAY SBX RACE – 10 week program is for athletes that are limited to their weekend commitments. Athletes will develop their SBX skills: agility, pumping/absorbing, straight airs and air awareness, speed generating/management. We encourage all participants to take part in the Coupe Quebec Circuit – event dates to be confirmed. Saturdays only $750.00
SBX Prestige – 10 week program is for SBX racers following the Coupe Quebec/Ontario Cup circuit or the FIS/NorAm circuit. This high performance training program focuses on skill development of all aspects of snowboarding. Honing in and fine tuning those skills will help athletes to achieve their goals. With highly qualified and experienced coaches, using video sessions and training off and on the track, Club Prestige Snowboard – MSM offers one of the best race programs in the Outaouais. Saturdays & Sundays $1400.00
FRIDAY TRAINING – Open to those registered in the SBX program, Fridays starting January 5th, 10 weeks $425.00
*Additional costs for away races and Snowboard Québec Race Fees if applicable
